Terms and Conditions
I never used to have Terms & Conditions. I just said 'If you're not satisfied with your purchase for any reason whatsover, I'll give you your money back immediately'. That still applies, but selling on the internet requires a formal set of Terms and Conditions, so here goes:
Delivery Policy
We meet all orders from stock, and we don't take orders for out-of-stock products. Goods will normally be despatched the day after the order is received, except when we're away at a craft fair, in which case they'll be despatched as soon as we get back.
We aim to despatch goods by the fastest and most secure method we can. For goods despatched to UK addresses, we use Royal Mail 1st-class Recorded delivery, which usually means that the goods are delivered within two days of posting, although the Post Office do not guarantee this.
For deliveries to anywhere other than the UK, we use International Signed-for (airmail). The speed of delivery varies according to the destination, but typically it takes about ten days for a package to reach Australia.
Returns and Refunds
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please return return the goods to us, preferably in the original packaging, within 30 days of receiving them for a full refund of the purchase price. Please note that we do not refund the return postage cost .
Cancellations
If you cancel your order before the goods have been despatched, you will receive a full refund of the purchase price. If you cancel your order after the goods have been despatched but before you receive them, please return return the goods to us, preferably in the original packaging, within 30 days for a full refund of the purchase price. Please note that we do not refund the return postage cost .
Unfortunately we cannot deliver to the USA
Look, if you really want a tankard you can have one. Just order it and pay the 'rest of the world' rate. But you need to know that the delivery might be slow. The reason I say I don't sell to the USA anymore is that it It used to take about 6 - 10 days to send a tankard from the UK to the USA (6 days to Boston, 10 to California), but due to tougher shipping regulations as a result of changes in anti-terror legislation, it can now sometimes take 6 weeks. I know that most folks who buy a tankard want it for a special occasion and I'd rather lose the sale than risk the tankard arriving late. But if you're aware of the problem and you're willing to take the risk, then that's fine by me. The new security regulations only apply to unaccompanied parcels.
