Large Ash Tankard, no hoops

Ash varies in colour from a very pale 'straw' colour to a much darker shade, almost like the colour of light Oak. The tankard in the photo is one of the darker ones. Please note that the grain pattern in Ash is very variable, sometimes showing as wide, wavy lines and at other times the grain runs in more-or-less straight lines.
